In the second quarter of 2021, the cannabis-themed gaming category in Latin America displayed diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users across the top five applications on a unified platform, according to Sensor Tower data.

Hempire - Weed Growing Game from LBC Studios Inc. saw a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads, peaking at around 96K in mid-April before experiencing a significant drop to approximately 1.2K by late May. Its weekly revenue started strong, reaching approximately $2.5K in late April, but gradually decreased to about $1K by the end of June. The app maintained a robust user base with weekly active users peaking at over 159K in mid-April, though this number decreased steadily to around 50K by the end of the quarter.

For Bud Farm: Idle Tycoon Game, developed by LDRLY, weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at a low with just single-digit downloads in early April and increasing to approximately 6.5K by the end of May. The app's weekly revenue showed a gradual upward trend, hitting a peak of approximately $1.4K in early June. Weekly active users increased from around 553 in late March to a peak of about 5K by the end of May, before slightly declining toward the end of the quarter.

Weed Firm 2: Back To College from Ludum LLC experienced a significant drop in downloads, starting with approximately 3K in late March and dwindling to just a few dozen by the end of June. Revenue was steady, largely hovering around $100 to $150 throughout the quarter, with a slight increase to $179 by the end of June. Active users showed a consistent decline from about 6.3K in late March to roughly 2.3K by the end of the quarter.

Finally, Wiz Khalifa's Weed Farm by Metamoki Inc. started the quarter with about 1.1K downloads, which decreased significantly to under 100 by the end of June. Revenue remained relatively stable, with minor fluctuations around $70 to $85. Active users followed a downward trend, starting at approximately 2.9K and decreasing to about 1.1K by the quarter's end.
